Ive never heard of the brand but the price looks pretty good, You would probably have to buy a bigger memory card as 32 mb is not that much. does black mean the color of the video recording or the camera color LOL, I wasnt sure

The color of the video camera itself. You can get the same brand on ebay with a lot of accesories for $189

I have purchased a handy cam no night vision though I'm working on building a hand held device that holds the camera and IR lights with a battery system. I'm wondering though if anyone has any suggestions on the IR lights. I really want the best quality I can get for my money especially since I'll most likely need more than one light.Projects kinda at a stand still until I purchase the lights.I'm looking though the camera will not be attached to the lights the lights can be battery operated or need power source. I'm trying to be conservative since I've never done this before.

I have spoken with two different teams and they have said to steer clear of the Bell and Howell handycams as they are pieces of crap.
Since you have already ordered one we can see how well it works and if it is not good you can always send it back or regift it at Christmas. LOL!

Well, it had good reviews and since I did not have a camcorder before, it has to add to my equipment at least a little.

Camcorder received this afternoon.
Busy reading the material. Planning to bring it Saturday to the meeting.
I'm going to order a Phantom Infrared Pro which should increase in infrared to about 50 foot.

I like the HD and touch screen features.
I just tested the infrared this morning. The distance is short but if following a team member it might be OK. Uploaded clip to Adrive. It takes about a one (1) minute to download the short test clip.
Once I add the Phantom Infrared Pro or Lite it should increase in infrared view out to about 50 foot.

I just ordered a Phantom Infrared Lite for my new camcorder.
Once it arrives next week I will post a short video clip using the camcorder infrared and then with the Phantom Infrared Lite turned on to show the difference.
Also planning to get a 32gb SDHC memory card (20 hours of recordings) as the camcorder has two (2) SD card sockets and I now have a 8gb SD card in the 1st socket.
