I don't?Use it or like it or both? "Quite often it is necessary to lighten or edit a photo you have taken so that the anomalies are clearer and easier to see. There are many programs out there but Gimp comes very close to all the features that programs like PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro have. It has many capabilities. It can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, etc."I saw it at one of the online Ghost Hunter supply stores.

I meant I have never heard of it before. Do you have it? If so, how do you like it?

Yes, I have a free copy of it on my computer. I've played with it a little. I also have the free version of WavePad. Time will tell and I'll post a review on them after I've used them more.

I have never heard of it either, but if I had photoshop, or a similar software for photo manipulation, I probably would not use it. I have a free version of photo filter which has a gamma correct tool for lightening dark photos without changing the quality of the photo or manipulating it by adding to it, it is called photo filter and it is the only photo software I use for reviewing photos. but I will look at the software you mentioned, it might be useful for editing my cemetery headstone photos that I do for Findagrave.
