WYATT Lafayette Co. This class A town was located on the Tallahatchie River in the northwest corner of the county. It was established in 1836, incorporated in 1838 and once had 14 businesses, some of which included a hotel, and a Masonic Lodge. It was first called Mitchell's Bluff. It is now under the waters of Sardis Reservoir.
